Frequently Asked Questions
About the Experience
What is a Brazilian steakhouse?
A Brazilian steakhouse, also known as a churrascaria, is a restaurant that specializes in authentic Brazilian churrasco. At Chama Gaucha, our skilled gauchos skewer and grill a rotating selection of USDA Prime meats over an open flame, then carve them tableside throughout your meal. This style of service is called rodízio, meaning you enjoy unlimited servings of every cut at one set price.
What is rodízio service?
Rodízio is a traditional Brazilian dining style where gauchos rotate continuously through the dining room carrying large skewers of freshly grilled meats. Each gaucho carves directly onto your plate at your preferred doneness. A two-sided card at your table controls the pace. Green means keep the meat coming. Red means you need a break.
What meats does Chama Gaucha serve?
Our rodízio rotation includes our signature picanha, filet mignon, ribeye, Colorado lamb chops, fraldinha, costela, linguica, porco, and frango. Every cut is sourced from Midwest USDA Prime beef aged 45 days for maximum tenderness and flavor.
Is the salad bar included in the price?
Yes. Our gourmet salad bar with more than 30 fresh options including imported Spanish and Italian cheeses, charcuterie, and traditional Brazilian accompaniments is included in the full dining experience price. A salad bar only option is also available at a reduced price.
